Scientific Steps Group Launches StepSphere, an AI Research Workspace for Researchers

Scientific Steps Group (SSG) is pleased to announce the launch of StepSphere, a new AI-powered research workspace designed to support researchers at every stage of their work, from the first dataset to the final presentation.

StepSphere brings four tools together in one place:

Statistics Studio

Upload your dataset and ask your research questions in plain language. Every number in the results is calculated from your data, and the output includes clear tables, charts and a downloadable report.

Research Navigator

Explore the literature on your topic, work with your own reference files, and build a bibliography based on verified sources, ready to export to your reference manager or to Word.

Draft Inspector

Receive a structured technical check of your manuscript before submission, covering internal consistency, references, statistical reporting, scientific clarity and language, followed by a re-inspection of your revised version.

Presentation Studio

Turn your research into a clear, well-structured presentation for a conference, a seminar or a thesis defense, ready to download and present.

Simple and Transparent

StepSphere works on a pay-per-use basis, with no subscription. The price, the limits and what is included are shown clearly before payment, and each package covers one study, one research topic, one manuscript or one presentation. Researchers can sign in with their existing SSG account.

Responsible Use of AI

StepSphere's results are generated by artificial intelligence and are not reviewed by a human expert. Researchers remain fully responsible for checking every result and for the final content of their work. StepSphere provides a suggested statement to help authors disclose the use of AI in their manuscripts, as many journals require.

Independent of SSG Journals

StepSphere is an optional commercial service, fully independent of the editorial processes of SSG journals. Using StepSphere, or choosing not to use it, has no effect on submission, peer review, editorial decisions or publication at any SSG journal. Editors and reviewers have no access to StepSphere accounts or results. More details are available in our Editorial Independence and Separation of Commercial Services policy.

"Our goal with StepSphere is to give researchers practical, affordable support while keeping research integrity at the center of everything we do," said the Scientific Steps Group team.
