To recognize and encourage outstanding contributions to the field of civil engineering, the journal Steps for Civil, Constructions, and Environmental Engineering (SCCEE) is pleased to announce the launch of the Best Paper Award. This award aims to honor exceptional research and scholarly work published in SCCEE, especially those that demonstrate significant international collaboration and advance knowledge in the diverse fields of civil engineering.

Evaluation and judging
- Scope: Submitted papers must address topics within any discipline of civil engineering.
- Collaboration: The research must involve international collaboration between authors affiliated with at least two different institutions from different countries.
- Article types: Only research articles and review articles are eligible.
- Publication: Papers must be accepted and published in SCCEE, following the journal’s author instructions on the SCCEE journal homepage.
Eligibility criteria and scoring
An independent international evaluation committee comprising distinguished experts from various civil engineering specialties will judge the eligible papers. A transparent and structured grading system, totaling 100 points, will be used:
